I am a bit disappointed that the group does not seem to know about the

similar FOSSi foundation.  To repeat a talking point of one of the

FOSSi members, it seems like unnecessary fracturing of an already very

small community.

They know about it, but they seem to be more on the free software side of the spectrum and FOSSi more on the open source spectrum.

I don't really mind as everything in open source will increase the pool.
