Hi there is a market for rebuilt commodore 8bit computers.

E.g. the c64 reloaded mk2 board.
Here they have ZIF sockets for the valuable commodire chips as they write

So lets grind and re implement the conmidore chips like
CIA and VIC and CPU.
The SID is too complex.

I would start with both CIA versions as IO chips are at danger for shortcuts
and foreign currents grilling them.
So here is a good market in C64 freaks who want to repair their boards.
What about the apple1 or2 did it have specia lchips?
Afik apple2 has been cloned and they contain standard logic and 6502.

So go with the CIA chip mos6526 a or b.
The 8521 was in c128 ?
I would use CIA6526 and we need to investigate which a or b sells better.
Also an IO is simple.
IIRC it also contains 256byte sram but this should be no problem with the
advanced semiconductor process compared to the process used by mistek
in the 1980s 😃

Cheers

Ludwig
