Since Snowden *we already know*, that there are dedicated NSA
bug-/back-doors in Cisco products.

The US ban comes up, while *somebody speculates*, that there *could be*
some bug-/back-doors in Huawei products.

This is a big difference - and still with a probability, there aren't
backdoors in Huawei products.

BTW,
ARM is also the Owner of the AMBA AXI System-on-Chip bus, which is
unfortunately quite popular. Losting this license would mean to rewrite
*all* IPs with another interface.
