Hello List!

Today we talked once more about a IKEA hack for Air Quality measurement.

IKEA has this VINDRIKTNING Air Sensor for roughly 10 Euros which
meassures particles in Category PM 2.5
Inside is a sensor called PM1006 from Cubic [0] which seems to fit the
particle size which is important for our chip manufacturing inside clean
rooms.
And, this sensor is already hacked :-) [1]

If you like to get some hardware porn - at github you'll find a source
how to mod and expand VINDRIKTNING [2]. I guess this is a nice starting
point for our hack.

Beside thas, IKEA also offers a particle filter with same spare parts as
FÖRNUFTIG.

I hope I can get into the details and evaluate the usage for our clean
room manufacturing..
Well, as David mentioned, IKEA is known for changing the articles they
are selling quite often. This can mean that next season VINDRIKTNING and
FÖRNUFTIG are not available anymore. But I guess, both have a longer
live if they become a best seller ;-)

BTW, if you do not know, what category PM 2.5 means - this site [3]
helps.

Have a nice week!
Hagen
